It’s winter timmmeeee in the (windy) cityyyyyyyyy.
In the down turned lights of the Garfield Park Conservatory, the sweet notes of a live flute romantically pierced the air. Outside the stars twinkled in the chilled air. Inside, flickering pillar candles provided the light that Tiara would walk down the aisle to, surrounded by guests and tropical plants. Married in the middle of a jungle in the heart of the Chicago!
Chicago Winter Wedding
Earlier that morning, the festivities began inside Chicago’s Emily Hotel. Heavy snow flakes floated gently down as the ladies giggled in silky red pajamas. Bridesmaids cozied up on a mustard velvet couch and popped champagne!
Tiara and Connor wanted to soak in the power of this immense day. They chose to have rooftop private vows + a first look that overlooked the Chicago skyline. In the moments leading up to seeing his bride, Connor took a few deep breaths as he overlooked the concrete jungle. His suit was as unique as this day was and held a secret lined silk pattern. As Tiara, in her Essence of Australia designer gown, called to him softly, Connor could not contain his emotions.
Winter Wedding Venues Chicago
After the intimate moments of privately exchanged vows, their wedding party enjoyed the views of the bustling city, wind and all!
As golden hour turned to blue hour, the pillar candles were lit. Through winding paths, guests made their way through the dry Desert Room and warm Fern Room until they finally arrived at the Horticulture Hall. This Garfield Park Conservatory wedding was one guests won’t ever forget! In front of a detailed mosaic fountain, they wed. Connor showed off his new wife as they walked down the aisle, but not before dipping her back for a dreamy kiss.

Under the creative eye of Jennifer Price, owner of Event Shoppe Chicago, long farm style tables laden with ruby red linens and romantic candles welcomed guests to dinner. The newlyweds custom seating chart was truly unique. Traveling is what Tiara and Connor are known for. What better to base their seating chart off of then the locations they’ve visited!? Guests were encouraged to “Find Their Destination” (table) on the custom signage . Tables were designated with locations like “Great Smokey Mountains” and “Devils Lake State Park”.
A live band with singers, saxophonists had everyone on their feet, and the newly weds on stage. Connor and Tiara’s reception band truly felt like a live concert, and they were in the middle of it, living their best life! Santa and the Grinch even stopped by with mini bottles of adult beverages during a live rendition of Mariah Carey’s “All I want For Christmas”.
The couples honeymooned in Montana, skiing in their favorite spots. Engaged in Montana, it was the perfect location for this honeymoon! Tiara’s engagement ring is even a Montana Sapphire.
This romantic, jungle wedding in the Windy City was as every bit as unique as Tiara and Connor had dreamed of. Their Garfield Park Conservatory wedding day was perfect.
