Garver Feed Mill Wedding Photographers
Their Garver Feed Mill Wedding day started like: “Oh Mickey you so fine”.
When the improve loving newlyweds aren’t hosting a monthly roast battle, they’re kicking off the wedding vows with Baby Tate lyrics 😉 and wearing wedding day “give a damn” lapel pins during their Garver Feed Mill wedding👌
“We want the day to feel like a big party! Bright colors, lots of flowers, and little touches that feel fun for everyone to enjoy” – and a big party it was! Rust orange, olive green, cobalt blue, and rich magentas punctuated the moody, industrial vibes of Garver Feed Mill.
The thing that stands out to us most about Mickey & Madeline is just how tender they are to each other. You can see it in their eyes. You can feel it in their tones of voice. They love loving each other, not taking themselves too seriously. When we asked Mickey what draws him to Madeline, he said that he loves smiling with each other to get through the day. HOW PURE IS THAT. I REPEAT. He loves smiling with her. That and he adores her cute dimples. 🥹
🧦But the thing that really knocked our socks off is that their tenderness for each other started with their families. Madeline sat holding grandpa’s hands in hers during the hustle and bustle of cocktail hour. Their dad’s hugged each other with full hearts. The love between the families was palpable – even in all those classic sibling digs 😉
Industrial Wedding Venues Madison WI
WEDDING VENUES MADISON WI
📍Garver Feed Mill is a unique Madison, WI wedding venue. The 100 + year old building, once a sugar beet facility, now houses a vast array of local artisans (in addition to being the perfect spot for an industrial wedding!)
Floor to ceiling windows, gallery style lighting, and contemporary pieces of art – arguable the most unique getting ready space for Madeline. Known as The Canvas, this space is meant to be a blank space for artists to come in and make their own. On an April afternoon, it was where Madeline shared the stunning emerald necklace Mickey had gifted her that morning. It’s where her sisters helped her put on her glittery boots (because she is a retro QUEEN). And where her and Mickey saw each other for the last time has fiancés.
A neon blue markee “Lounge” sign merrily beamed down on guests as they sipped craft cocktails. Lush tropical plants stretched up historic brick walls, reaching for Garver Feeds Mills lofted ceilings.
A large curtain surrounded much of the wedding reception, keeping their celebration private. And in between the edges of where the curtains met, there was the most perfect sliver of life happening. We paused, admiring the joy that was pouring off of that sliver between the curtains, and froze that moment in the photo below.. Looking in on the happiest day of Madeline & Mickey’s lives during their Garver Feed Mill wedding.
