Indoor Engagement Session Locations Madison WI

The definition of high school sweethearts, Oshiona & Darren met during their World History class. When they aren’t taking down the shrimp tempura at Koi Sushi, they LOVE to travel together! Whether it’s the Stratosphere in Vegas or just running errands together. When we asked Darren what his favorite date he’s ever been on with Oshi, he simply couldn’t pick a favorite and stated “all of them!”

During their MMoCA madison engagement session photos, we took full advantage of the space that the museum has to offer. Oshi wore a stunning black lace and tulle shirt/skirt combo, while Darren sported a gold chain with his sleek black suit. The juxtaposition of their dark, formal attire and the bright white and aqua cast from the room of glass, created a picture perfect vibe. 

The goal for this session was to capture the compassion, unity, and investment they have with and for each other. Oshi & Darren being willing to be in the moment lead to just that.

The thing we loved most about this session for Oshiona & Darren is that the moment we entered the MMoCA there was a peace and stillness. Enjoying each other’s company in front of the vast windows, we were able to capture the hustle and bustle that was happening behind them on State St. But inside, it was just them and their little giggles. If that wasn’t the most beautiful and literal representation of their desire to slow things down and enjoy the moment amongst the chaos of life, we don’t know what is!

Oshi & Darren leveraged our vast Madison knowledge to plan their engagement session. It began with them wanting a metro area but also lakes views! Pulling from our backlog of never-ending ideas, we suggested kicking off their session at the MMoCA before heading down to Monona Terrace for a relaxed end to their day. After which they absolutely demolished shrimp tempura at Koi Sushi 😉 

The best part of all? The MMoCA isn’t just for engagement sessions, you can get married on the MMoCA rooftop sculpture garden!
